Here is a soup that husbands will love because it is meaty. Plus you will love because it is tender and simple. Honestly, the longest part of it all was cutting up the potatoes. So in all, it took me about 15 minutes to prep and about 15 minutes to cook. Then I let cool down for 5 minutes. So I had dinner on the table 45 minutes after I got home from my day. Plus while it cooked I was able to start the laundry and clean up the mess on the counter. So I must say having my Instant Pot is purely amazing.
Homemade Beef Stew in Instant Pot
Ingredients to make enough for 4
1.5 lbs of beef
1 lb of potatoes
1 lb of crinkled carrots
1/2 package of mixed veggies or peas (whichever you perfer)
3/4 cup of sliced celery
1/2 cup of onion
2 tsp of diced garlic
oil on the bottom of the pan
3 tsp of corn starch
2 cups of beef broth
a few pinches of parsley
and salt and pepper
1How to Make
First, you will take your beef and cornstarch in a baggie and mix it up together. Make sure the beef is coated well.
Now you will place the oil on the bottom of your Instant Pot and place the onions and garlic on and cook till the onions are translucent.
Now simply add all the rest of your ingredients in your Instant Pot, Mix up well close the lid and cook on stew mode and let it cook.
Once the timer goes off let the Instant Pot natural release for 10 minutes and let after the 10 minutes open the valve to release any remaining pressure.
Now you can sit down and enjoy your dinner with your family.
