Korean Beef in Instant Pot

I have always wanted to try this recipe so I decided why not try FINALLY its only been 2 years since I first wanted to make Korean Beef.   I love to cook the rice and the meat in my instant pot is because the seasoning is 100% times better when I use my pressure cooker.

Here’s what you need to have on hand:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2-2/3 cups hot cooked brown rice
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced (optional)

How to Make

  • About 3-12 hours before you can season your meat up – use everything but the green onions and oil.
  • In your Instant Pot turn on to Saute and brown your meat for about 5 minutes with the oil.  If you don’t have sesame oil you don’t have to go but you can use regular oil.
  • Now close the lid and cook for 5 minutes on high (manual) pressure.
  • After done you will pour into a bowl and drain the fat.
  • Clean out your Instant  Pot bowl really quick and place the rice in to cook – 2 C. of rice to 2 1/2 C. water lose belly fat fast.
  • Place the lid back on the pot, close the valve and set the timer for 7 minutes on high (manual pressure). Once it beeps, release and serve with Korean Beef.
